Visit MPB Books for Free Chance to Win Coffee with NYT Bestselling Author Ace Atkins

To celebrate the recent launch of MPB Books—a new webpage dubbed “A booklover’s passport into the literary minds of some of the nation’s finest authors”—Mississippi Public Broadcasting invites the public to enter a free drawing for a chance to win coffee with New York Times bestselling author Ace Atkins.

Atkins, of Oxford, has been nominated for every major award in crime fiction, including The Edgar three times. He’s a former newspaper reporter and SEC football player.

The lucky winner of this random drawing along with a guest will visit with Atkins over coffee in Oxford, a town known as “the literary center of the South.” Discussions could include books, writing, even football. Deadline to enter is August 30 via MPB Books.

Book lovers should consider the content of MPB Books a treat. There they can watch and listen to exclusive literary programs from MPB’s vast collection. Some of the Mississippi greats include Richard Wright, William Faulkner, Eudora Welty, Margaret Walker Alexander, Willie Morris, Angie Thomas, Jesmyn Ward and many more.
