Here is the live performance of Adam Gussow and Alan Gross in front of The Local Voice office in Oxford, Mississippi, celebrating the release of Adam’s book, “Busker’s Holiday.”
Adam is a professor of Southern Studies and English at the University of Mississippi and formerly of the blues duo Satan & Adam. Alan Gross is a professor of Psychology at the University of Mississippi.
Performance took place in front of The Local Voice office, in the tent run by Chad Henson‘s Food Truck, Afrissippi. Video was shot by Newt Rayburn of The Local Voice, who broadcast the performance live on Periscope.

A seventh-generation Lafayette County, Mississippian, Newt Rayburn's alter ego—Neuter Cooter—lead the Mississippi band THE COOTERS to Rocknoll Glory across the USA from 1993-2018.
Newt is a family man who also is a publisher, photographer, writer, musician, landlord, and Civil War enthusiast.
