Memphis, Tennessee Felon Arrested for Shooting at The Lyric Theater in Oxford, Mississippi

The Oxford Police Department would like to announce that the shooter from the Lyric on April 27, 2018, is in custody.

Desmond Bowen (22 of Memphis, TN) was arrested today (5/8/2018) by his probation officer. He currently being held at the Shelby County Jail pending extradition.

Bowen will be charged with aggravated assault and felon in possession of a firearm. His bond will be set once he is booked into the Lafayette County Detention Center. The Local Voice Ligature
