City of Oxford, Mississippi Board of Aldermen Recess Meeting Agenda – Monday, November 29, 2021

Recess Meeting 1:00 pm in the City Hall Courtroom.

Notice that certain commission members will be included in the meeting via teleconference, subject to City of Oxford Code of Ordinances Section 2-82.

  1. Call to order.
  2. Adopt the agenda for the meeting.
  3. Consent Agenda:
    1. Human Resources:
      1. Consider volunteers for the Oxford Animal Resource Center. (Braxton Tullos)
      2. Request permission to hire an Animal Control Officer for the Oxford Animal Resource Center. (Braxton Tullos)
      3. Request permission to hire a full-time Kennel Attendant for the Oxford Animal Shelter. (Braxton Tullos)
      4. Request permission to hire a part-time Kennel Attendant for the Oxford Animal Resource Center. (Braxton Tullos)
      5. Request permission to accept the resignation of an employee in the Oxford Fire Department. (Braxton Tullos)
    2. Travel Requests:
      1. Request permission for three OFD employees to travel to Ocala, FL on November 30- December 2, 2021 at no cost to the City. This is for the inspection of the new fire truck prior to delivery. (Joey Gardner)
  4. Consider MOA with MDOT for the University Avenue/ Highway 7 Intersection Improvements. (Bart Robinson)
  5. Consider an executive session.
  6. Adjourn.
