  1. Call to order.
  2. Adopt the agenda for the meeting.
  3. Mayor’s Report.
  4. Authorize approval of minutes of the regular meeting on June 18, 2013.
  5. Authorize approval of accounts for all city departments.
  6. Announce board opening on the Oxford Tourism Council.
  7. Announce board opening on the OPC Board.
  8. Announce board opening on the Pathways Commission.
  9. Announce board opening on the Economic Development Foundation.
  10. Elect Mayor Protempore for July 1, 2013- June 30, 2017.
  11. Authorize appointment of Municipal judge, public defender and prosecuting attorney.
  12. Authorize legal services of Mayo Mallette LLC.
  13. Authorize appointment of City Clerk.
  14. Authorize appointment of Police Chief.
  15. Authorize appointments of all police officers.
  16. Authorize appointment of Public Works Director, Chief Operating Officer.
  17. Authorize appointments of all City Department heads.
  18. First reading of ordinance creating Historic Properties Commission.
  19. Discuss the condition of residential property on University Avenue.  (Lola Pearson).
  20. Mrs. Buford to address board concerning repairs from water damage at Western Hills.
  21. First reading of proposed ordinance change, changing time of Board meetings to5:00 p.m.
  22. Approve the Second Annual Report of the Board of Trustees of the City of Oxford Municipal Reserve and Trust Fund.  (Eddie Aune)
  23. Authorize transfer of funds in the amount of $818,622.00, which amount equals the earning component minus the expense of administration, from the City of Oxford Municipal Reserve and Trust Fund to the General Fund of the City of Oxford.
  24. Approval of the Second Amended and Restated Trust Agreement of the City of Oxford Municipal Reserve and Trust Fund.
  25. Reappointment of Jason Bailey as the Alderman Trustee to the Board of Trustees of the City of Oxford Municipal Reserve and Trust Fund to serve August 1, 2013 through July 21, 2015.
  26. Reappointment of Bob Dowdy as a non-alderman Trustee to the Board of Trustees of the City of Oxford Municipal Reserve and Trust Fund to serve August 1, 2013 through July 21, 2015.
  27. Approve license and use agreement from the school district for a maintenance building and other improvement at the cemetery.  (Pope Mallette)
  28. Third reading and vote of an ordinance amending the Oxford Commons PUD. (Tim Akers)
  29. Second Reading and public hearing of an ordinance amending Grand Oaks PUD II. (Tim Akers)
  30. Third reading and vote of ordinance amendment to amend Section 102-482 of the City of Oxford Code of Ordinances.  (Bart Robinson)

  43. Authorize two Human Resource employees to attend 2013 Labor & Employment Law Seminar in Biloxi, MS on August 15-16, 2013 with a cost of $1,916.00.  (Al Hope)
  44. Authorize promotion to Lieutenant in the Fire Department.  (Al Hope)
  45. Authorize promotion to Captain in the Fire Department.  (Al Hope)
  46. Authorize promotion to Battalion Chief in the Fire Department.  (Al Hope)
  47. Accept resignation in the Police Department.  (Al Hope)
