Oxford, Mississippi Woman Arrested for DUI 4th on County Road 101

On May 29, 2026, Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office were conducting a driver’s license safety checkpoint on County Road 101.

Deputies came into contact with the driver of a Black Nissan Pathfinder later identified as Tish Sisk (Black Female, 43 years old) of Oxford, Mississippi. Sisk exhibited obvious signs of intoxication.

After conducting a DUI investigation, Deputies placed Sisk under arrest, where she actively resisted. After Sisk was taken into custody, she was transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center.

A criminal history check of Sisk revealed that Sisk had several past DUI arrests in Mississippi.

Sisk was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and DUI 4th or Greater. A Lafayette County Justice Court Judge set Sisks’ bond at $15,000.
