Oxford School District is proud to celebrate Oxford High School rising junior Madalyn Sullivan, who was recently crowned Miss Mississippi’s Teen.
At Oxford High School, Madalyn is a dedicated member of the Chargerettes dance team, cross-country team, choir, and theater program.
Outside of the classroom, Madalyn is the founder of Millie’s Mission, a statewide initiative inspired by her sister, Millie, that promotes autism acceptance through education, advocacy, and inclusion. She also co-authored the children’s book, Meet Millie, which has been donated in all 82 Mississippi counties.

As Miss Mississippi’s Teen, Madalyn plans to use her title to expand both Millie’s Mission and the Miss America Opportunity. She hopes to encourage more young girls to participate in the Miss America Opportunity while continuing to donate copies of Meet Millie to public, school, and Little Free Libraries across Mississippi.
In addition to earning the title of Miss Mississippi’s Teen, Madalyn was awarded more than $10,000 in scholarships and full-tuition scholarship offers from the University of Mississippi, Mississippi State University, and the University of Alabama.
“Winning Miss Mississippi’s Teen means so much more to me than receiving a crown. It represents years of hard work, perseverance, and trusting God’s timing,” said Madalyn Sullivan. “Being Miss Mississippi’s Teen gives me the opportunity to advocate for a cause that is deeply personal to my heart, inspired by my sister Millie, and to use my voice to make a difference across our state. I am incredibly grateful for this honor and excited to serve Mississippi over the coming year.”
Madalyn will represent Mississippi at Miss America’s Teen competition in September. The Oxford School District congratulates Madalyn for this outstanding recognition, and we wish her continued success as she takes the national stage.
