Two Oxford Men Arrested for Felony Child Neglect in Separate Cases

In May, 2021, officers began investigating a claim of child neglect. Once test results came back it was discovered that a child living in the home tested positive for illegal narcotics. Investigators took Derek Joslin, 36 of Oxford, Mississippi into custody for Felony Child Neglect. He was given a $20,000 bond.

In June, 2021, officers began investigating a claim of child neglect. Once test results came back it was discovered that a child living in the home tested positive for illegal narcotics. Investigators took Ryan Yourn, 36 of Oxford, into custody for Felony Child Neglect. He was given a $20,000 bond.
