The Ford Center Offering Free Classes for Theatre Technician Training

The Ford Center Staff will be conducting hands-on classes for those interested in behind the scenes theatre technology. Each class will focus on a different aspect of performing arts production. The September class will focus theatrical rigging, counterweight systems and safety.  If you are interested in working backstage at the Ford Center, this is a great opportunity to get a hands-on experience, meet the staff and ask questions.

The classes are free and open to anyone age 18 and older, but please RVSP via email to: mattz@olemiss.edu to reserve a place in the class. This month’s class will be on September 30 from 9 am–12 pm. The Local Voice Ligature
