The Local Voice welcomes well written press releases, articles, columns, and opinion pieces from local members of the community. We are happy to publish online articles of interest to Oxford, Lafayette County, and North Mississippi. All articles will be considered for the newspaper, but cannot be guaranteed to print due to space limitations. Four times a year, The Local Voice publishes our seasonal “Reading Issues” which include creative writing, poetry, fiction, artwork, etc.
A Few Tips
- The preferred formats are Microsoft Word, Google Doc, or RTF for text; and JPG, PNG, or PDF for images.
- Submitted articles should be 500-1000 words.
- Submit high resolution images and photographs with your article. Please include captions with your images, or better yet, please embed captions in the photographs.
