Square Books Hosts Michael Bible in Conversation with William Boyle January 11

Michael Bible in conversation with William Boyle – Monday, January 11, 2021 at 5 pm on Zoom 

Join Square Books for an evening of conversation between authors Michael Bible and William Boyle.  

Former Square Books bookseller Michael Bible’s most recent novel is The Ancient Hours, which explores the ramifications of a church bombing in a North Carolina town and how the victims, witnesses, perpetrators, and condemned comingle and evolve as the passage of time works its way through their lives. Acclaimed neo-noir author and Oxford, MS, local William Boyle’s newest book, City of Margins, which follows a vivid cast of characters as their lives collide in gritty 1990s Brooklyn, will be released in paperback in March 2021. 

About the Authors: 

Michael Bible is originally from North Carolina. His work has  appeared in the Oxford American, The Paris Review Daily, Al-Jazeera America, ESPN: The Magazine, and New York Tyrant Magazine. He is a former bookseller at  Square Books in Oxford, Mississippi, and lives in New York. 

William Boyle is from Brooklyn, New York. His books include Gravesend, which was  nominated for the Grand Prix de Littérature Policière in France and shortlisted for the John  Creasey (New Blood) Dagger in the UK; The Lonely Witness, nominated for the Hammett Prize;  and, most recently, City of Margins. He lives in Oxford, Mississippi.
