Sherra Wright Arrested in Connection to Ex-Husband Lorenzen Wright’s Murder

The story continues to develop on the murder of Lorenzen Wright as his ex-wife Sherra Wright has been charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and attempted first degree murder in the case of her murdered ex-husband.

Wright was arrested Friday in California and will appeared in court today, Monday morning, in Riverdale, California.

Officials are not releasing details of the connection between Wright and the previously-arrested Billy Ray Turner though they have said they are, “confident they know each other.”

Wright was involved in a lawsuit with her ex-husband’s family for his $1 million life insurance policy. The lawsuit has clearly left a rift between the two given Lorenzen Wright’s mother, Deborah Marion‘s, statement on the arrest.

“Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus! They got her! They got her!’’ Marion said Friday night. “They need to bury her.’’
