Rebel Men’s Golf Earns Tournament Victory at FAU

Led by Freshman Braden Thornberry, the Ole Miss Rebel men’s golf team earned their first victory on the year at the FAU Slomin Autism Invite in Lake Worth, Florida. Thornberry posted a 2-under 69 in Sunday’s final round and a 8-under 205 overall, good enough for a tie first-place finish and co-medalist honors at the Fountains Country Club. As a team, the Rebs posted an 11-under 841 finish on the weekend, Ole Miss’s lowest team total since turning in a team finish of 845 at the Sam Hill Intercollegiate in 2012. The Rebels will compete next at the Old Waverly Invitational in West Point, Mississippi, on April 4. The Local Voice Ligature
