Mississippi’s Young Valley Premier Single Off Upcoming Album

Young Valley is Jackson, Mississippi‘s alt-country outfit with an album releasing through Dial Back Sounds label imprint, Dial Back Records. Recently Young Valley was featured on Thacker Mountain Radio Hour before taking the stage at Proud Larry’s with Great Dying. Today the band premiered “Hang Me,” a single from the upcoming album, on GlideMagazine.com

“It’s a fun, bittersweet tune about the turnarounds, hopes and complexities of new love–sometimes from a self-deprecating perspective,” said singer, guitarist, and songwriter Dylan Lovett. “For me, it’s kind of a funny song. I used to sing this song with my ex-girlfriend (who this song may or may not be referencing to) in a duo project, which makes it even funnier now.”

The song can be streamed below and keep an eye out on April 20 for the album’s full release and learn more about the band here.
