Artistic Style: Street art, oil paint, stencils, and spray paint

Hometown: Detroit Michigan to Tillatoba, Mississippi

How long have you lived in Oxford? 13 years

Early art experience: Tracing the first TMNT in ‘86

Favorite visual artists: C215, DAN23, BANKSEY, Jean Michel Basquiat, Pollock, and Michelangelo

Art school? A little at Northwest in Senatobia.

Favorite book or author: George Jackson, Richard Wright, and Ponder on This

Favorite quotation: “It’s not who you are that holds you back, it’s who you think you’re not!” – Basquiat

Do you work out of a studio? Anywhere is my studio

How many hours to you spend in your studio each day? When my son is not with me, I’ll try to draw my work for, I’ll say, 3 hours

Most productive hours? 12 am to 4 am I’m a night owl

Favorite project you’ve completed: So far my 3 Kings of the Blues project in 2013

Three ideas you want to explore in art: The three things I would like to explore in art is to do a series on Jazz vs. funk, The  sucker punch project where I punch out hi profile celebrities and politician and whatever my hand touch the paper to let it flow.

Where can we see some of your art on display? On your walls if their empty. They need some ‘9000 on it.

Do you have a “day job”? If so, where? The Bottletree Bakery in Oxford,  Mississippi

Favorite music/bands: Right now it’s all about old school Hip-Hop. Run-DMC, krs-one, Fat Boys, N.W.A., Jam on it by Newcleus, De La Soul, E.P. MD, J.J. Fad

What are some of your other hobbies? Cooking, writing, and poetry

Where do you hang out in Oxford? The Levee, Blind Pig, 3way store

Aspirations: My aspirations an arts to reach those who never been to art gallery or art shows I wanted to make it where its reachable for the people. The Local Voice Ligature
