Freeze: Team is Hungry and Needs Big Home Crowd Against Auburn

Head Coach Hugh Freeze and Senior Quarterback Bo Wallace met with media on Monday. Here’s what they had to say:

Wallace on LSU and heading into Auburn – “We are going to come in and get back to work. We let the atmosphere dictate how we play. I have to do a better job of remaining calm and helping keep everyone else calm. We need to get back to throwing on first and second down. We had a lot of third and longs.”

Freeze on the team: “That’s life in the SEC. We have an opportunity to bounce back immediately against Auburn at home this weekend. We need our crowd here. This team is hungry and and I think they will respond the right way.”

No. 7 Ole Miss takes on No. 4 Auburn at 6:00 pm on Saturday at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. The game will be televised nationally by ESPN.

The Tigers will bring the SEC’s best rushing offense into Oxford this weekend averaging over 280 yards per game.

A win will put the Rebels right back in the College Football Playoff picture. The Local Voice Ligature
