The theme of this year’s symposium is “North Mississippi Hill Country Blues,” and will focus on the region’s distinctive blues sound and culture. The date coincides with Clarksdale’s Juke Joint Festival (April 10–12) and is open to the public. The symposium takes place at the J.D. Williams Library at Ole Miss; visit livingblues.com or thelocalvoice.net for more info on this educational musical experience.
