Billy Reed Signing Messages to Lelia at Off Square Books August 14

Messages to Lelia is a book of haiku and other poems by a poet based in Memphis, Tennessee. His poetry springs from wide-ranging experience connected with his family history and with local Southern cultures in Mississippi and West Tennessee. His poetry sparkles with life, deep-rooted as it is in the soil of the Mid-South.

“Billy Reed is a salty saint, sprinkling light on dark paths in a laser-speared poetry that invites us all to dance, laugh, and pray. It will bless you if you let it.” —John Kilzer, Ph.D.
