3rd Annual Gospel Choir Showcase and Iron Chef Competition at Oxford City Hall 4/26
The Third Annual Gospel Choir Showcase & Iron Chef Competition hosted by Good Food for Oxford Schools will be held during Double Decker weekend to showcase the sounds of north Mississippi’s finest gospel choirs with other special family-friendly activities, including a new featured event: an Iron Chef Competition between Oxford school parent-student teams.
The Iron Chef Competition will take place between school district parent-student teams as they compete for the Iron Chef title using a secret, local ingredient. Oxford School District students will present what they are learning through the Good Food for Oxford Schools program, and dance and singing performances will be held throughout the event. The general public is invited to attend the free event as a way to wrap up Double Decker weekend festivities.
