On July 5, 2021, the Oxford Police Department took a report of damage being done to a vehicle on Garfield Avenue.
The reporting person stated that Jequaris Moore, 19, of Oxford, Mississippi, had thrown a pyrotechnic device inside of their vehicle and had done over $1,000.00 worth of damage to the vehicle. Moore was arrested on July 19th, 2021, without incident on a charge of Felony Malicious Mischief.
A Lafayette County Justice Court judge issued Moore a $2,500 bond.
