Oxford High School is delighted to announce that senior Jun Jang has been selected as a semifinalist in the 2026 Coca-Cola Scholars Program.
Jang is among only 18 students from Mississippi and 1,238 students nationwide chosen from more than 107,000 applicants for this prestigious recognition. Semifinalists were selected based on their academic performance, leadership, and service demonstrated in school and community activities.
As a semifinalist, Jang will advance to the next stage of the Coca-Cola Scholars competition, which includes submitting essays, recommendations, and transcripts as part of a comprehensive review process.
From this group of semifinalists, 250 students nationwide will be named Regional Finalists in January and invited to interview for one of 150 Coca-Cola Scholarships valued at $20,000 each. The final list of scholars will be announced in April.
Congratulations to Jun Jang on this outstanding achievement. We wish him continued success in the competition and in all of his future endeavors.
