
The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks’ (MDWFP) Mississippi Museum of Natural Science (MMNS) invites families and visitors of all ages looking for an affordable Spring Break adventure to enjoy a special lineup of events and activities at MMNS from March 6 until March 18, 2025!
“The museum is the perfect place to explore, learn, and connect with nature,” says Museum Director Angel Rohnke. Guests can explore the Mindbender Mansion exhibit, aquariums, nature trails, and the Dinosaur Trail. They can also take Spotter’s Adventure Trail to visit the LeFleur’s Bluff Playground and grab a treat at Spotter’s Snack Shack. - March 6–7 (9 am–12:30 p.m.): Science Makers
- March 8: Egg-ceptional Egg Game activity kicks-off and runs through April 30. Search for eggs designed by staff and inspired by the animal kingdom. Everyone wins!
- March 10–18: Teacher CEU Workshops. Registration required.
- March 11 (10 am and 11:30 am): Dorian LaChance Magic Funtastic Shows
- March 12 (10 am–noon): Pollinator Day
- March 15 (9 am–2 pm): Family Nature Detectives Workshop. Registration required.
