On April 11, 2021, at approximately 1:30 am, the Oxford Police Department responded to a call that somebody had stolen the caller’s vehicle while they were inside a convince store in the 500 block of South Lamar.
The vehicle was located and stopped by OPD on Van Buren Avenue.
Jacob T. Boling, (22 of Hernando, Mississippi) was arrested on charges of Motor Vehicle Felony – Taking Away, along with other misdemeanor charges.
A Lafayette County Justice Court judge issued Boling a $10,000 bond.
The Oxford Police Department is housed 715 Molly Barr Road. The department has more than 70 full-time officers and staff and provides a wide range of protection and enforcement services.
