Mitchell Wren, 23, of Tupelo, Mississippi.
On July 11, 2025, around 4:11 pm, a Parking and Code Enforcement Officer with the Oxford Police Department observed a verbal altercation on North Lamar Boulevard.
As the officer approached, the suspect, later identified as Mitchell Wren, 23, of Tupelo, Mississippi, attempted to flee the area.
He was located shortly by responding patrol officers while trying to leave Oxford.
An investigation revealed that Wren had been cyberstalking and harassing a victim. He was arrested and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center, where he was given a bond by a Municipal Court Judge.
On July 14, 2025, after posting bond, Wren violated a domestic abuse protection order by continuing to text and call the victim.
An arrest warrant was issued, and he was later taken into custody by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department. He is currently being held in Monroe County until he can be released into the custody of the Oxford Police Department.
This case remains under investigation.
