Water Valley Man Charged with Intimidating a Witness

On January 4, 2023, the Oxford Police Department took a walk-in report about an individual receiving threatening phone calls.

After investigation, Robert Walker, 34, of Water Valley, Mississippi was charged with Intimidating a Witness. 

Walker was taken before a Lafayette County Justice Court judge for his initial bond hearing and issued a  $5,000 bond.  

Walker was previously arrested earlier this year for Embezzlement in Oxford.

EDIT: A previous version of this story said the walk-in report was made January 20. The Oxford Police Department later clarified that the report was taken January 4, 2023.
