UM Faculty Woodwind Quintet at Nutt Auditorium April 1
The University of Mississippi Faculty Woodwind Quintet is one of several chamber ensembles supported by the Music Department, and has been presenting regular concerts for the Oxford and University communities since 1994. Current members include (left to right): Adam Estes, bassoon; Caroline Kinsey, horn; Diane Wang, flute; Katherine Piecuch, oboe; and Michael Rowlett, clarinet.
This concert will feature standard repertoire by Franz Danzi, Jean Françaix, and Alexander Zemlinsky. Highlighting the program will be “Abiding Passions” by contemporary music composer William Albright.
