Two From Holly Springs, Mississippi Aressted for Felony Shoplifting at Oxford Wal-Mart
On Wednesday, September 26, 2018, the Oxford Police Department responded to Wal-Mart for a reported shoplifting. Loss Prevention stated that a male and female had pushed out approximately $1,459.28 worth of merchandise and were loading it into their vehicle.
Officers arrived and came into contact with Jermaine Dowdy (33 of Holly Springs, Mississippi) and Margaret Jefferson (54 of Holly Springs, Mississippi) before they could leave the parking lot. Dowdy and Jefferson were arrested for felony shoplifting and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center. They were both given a bond of $2,500 by a Justice Court Judge.
