“Well, here goes, after talking with the staff gathered here this morning the consensus is that Ajax is closed. This may sound overly cautious, and I certainly hope it is. Just yesterday four states closed their restaurants down, so it isn’t if, but when. The quicker we do this, the quicker we can open back up.
We are opening a Venmo account for the staff because several wonderful people have asked if they can. Ajax’s Venmo is @Ajax-Diner2020.
Thanks so much everyone, we can’t wait to see you again. Please support the other great establishments in Oxford, they all need it. Be safe, wash your hands, and thank you for dining with us.”
