These Girls are on Fire

Ole Miss Softball is hot.

After picking up their first series sweep of an SEC opponent since 2012, Head Coach Mike Smith remains focused on one thing: the next game.

“Right now it’s about taking things one game at a time and this team has been resilient,” Smith said.

Ole Miss (21–13, 5–7) was rewarded for their recent success when senior third baseman Allison Brown was named SEC Player of the Week after Ole Miss swept Arkansas. Brown went 8 for 11 from the plate, with four RBI and four runs scored.

The Softball team will be back in action on the road this weekend before returning home for a three game series against SEC rival Georgia on April 10. The Friday and Saturday games will be carried by the SEC Network+. The Local Voice Ligature
