Seventh Man Charged in the Homicide on Olive Branch Way in Oxford

Oxford, Mississippi Police have arrested another man in regard to the homicide on the 400 block of Olive Branch Way in Oxford, Mississippi November 30, 2020.

Caryale Dajuan Dogan (29 of Charleston, Mississippi) turned himself in to the Oxford Police Department on Friday, December 11.  

Dogan was charged with Armed Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery. He was given a $100,000 bond by a Lafayette County Justice Court judge.  

Five men were arrested and charged from December 2-7 and a sixth man was arrested and charged December 9. The arrest of Caryale Dajuan Dogan is the seventh man charged in the homicide so far.

“I’m very proud of the work our Criminal Investigations Division did in this case,” said Chief of Police Jeff McCutchen. “They worked tirelessly and  around the clock to ensure that this crime would be solved and justice served for the victim.”

“Our thoughts and  prayers go out to Mr. Davis’ family.”
