Rebecca Long’s Photos from The End Of All Music – July 20, 2013
Here are some photos of the Zaireeka listening party:
Tweaking the controls to synch up the four turntables...
One record down...
Got the second one going, too...
The third and fourth turntables were across the room (where it sounded completely different!)
Third turntable, hard at work...
A lot of folks showed up - here's the crowd mingling and picking out music
The Zaireeka tracks really sounded more like "whole" songs if you stood closer to the back of the store - so I did, for a good deal of the time.
There was a raffle for the copy of Zaireeka used at this "Listening Party"
And more photos taken around the store while everyone was listening:
Ah, I love record store listening nooks!
The End Of All Music has Daft Punk's new album *Random Access Memories* on CD and on vinyl...if you haven't heard it yet, stop by and pick up a copy (I promise it's an amazing listen!)
Nice.
I love Chuck Berry.
This amuses me greatly; my phone's alarm is set to this Batman theme every morning. I know the tune well!
Random awesome for sale on the wall...
More random awesome (I'd love to buy these as gifts for friends!)
Yesssss!
One of many fine wall decorating options available at the shop...
This is Golda; she's holding a Crystal Gayle record and smiling because one of our best friends was named Crystal Galle (until she recently married)... We like our friend's hair better!
And this, my friends, is on my wishlist.
