Pontotoc, Mississippi Man Arrested on the Oxford Square for Juvenile Domestic Violence and Possession of Child Pornography
On April 13, 2018, officers with the Oxford Police Department were dispatched to The Square for a welfare check on a juvenile. The juvenile was transported to a hospital after reporting physical abuse. Officers were able to identify the suspect as Anthony Powell (24 of Pontotoc, Mississippi).
Powell was arrested and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center for aggravated domestic violence and possession of child pornography. A bond of $150,000 was set by a judge.
