On January 24, 2018 investigators with the Oxford Police Department served an arrest warrant on Charles Rainey (46) of Oxford, Mississippi with embezzlement. On
January 23, 2018 a complaint was filed stating that Rainey took money from the Oxford School District to pay personal bills and pay himself extra money. The estimated amount taken is $1,800.
Rainey was booked on one count of embezzlement and his bond was set at $3,000.00.
