Oxford, Mississippi Man Arrested for Molesting a Child
On February 3, 2023 at 1700 hours (5 pm), a report was made that Robert Royer, 44 years old of Oxford, Mississippi, allegedly molested a child.
On 2/9/2023 at 0900 hours (9 am), a forensic interview was conducted and the child disclosed that Robert Royer had molested a child. Lafayette County Investigators then filed charges on Royer for Molesting- Touching of a Child for Sexual Purposes and applied for an arrest warrant.
Deputies arrested Robert Royer at Hilltop Gas Station without incident. He was transported to the LCDC and booked in at the Lafayette County Detention Center.
Royer does not have a bond at this time.
