Oxford, Mississippi Man Arrested for DUI 4th

On Monday, July 5, 2021, investigators with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department arrested 71-year-old Hubbard Vinson of Oxford, Mississippi, for DUI 4th. Vinson was arrested for DUI 4th on May 20, 2021, received a bond, and bonded out. 

Vinson was called in on as a reckless driver on July 5, 2021.  Deputies conducted a traffic stop, and as a result of the investigation, Hubbard Vinson was arrested and charged with DUI 4th

Vinson received a bond of $25,000, but was revoked due to him being out on a previous felony bond.

About the Author

The Office of Sheriff is a four year term filled through an at-large election process. Duties of the Sheriff involve two primary areas; law enforcement of the county and administrative. The law enforcement duties are to keep the peace in Lafayette County while administrative duties consist primarily of serving as the county jailor.
