Oxford Man Arrested for Burglary of MTrade Park Concession Stand
On May 27, 2021, the Oxford Police Department responded to MTrade Park in reference to an unknown male inside the concession stand. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the male, later identified as Benjamin Adams (19 of Oxford, Mississippi), and at the time was trespassed from the property.
OPD investigators were notified and after further investigation, it was uncovered that Adams entered the concession stand and stole $681.00 in cash. Adams was subsequently arrested for Burglary of a Commercial Building and taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center.
A Lafayette County Justice Court judge issued Adams a $10,000 bond.
