Oxford Defeats South Panola in Jamboree at Ole Miss

University, Miss (TLV) – Ole Miss commit DK Metcalf caught an 11 yard touchdown pass with just over a minute to play to lift Oxford over powerhouse South Panola 14-10 Friday night at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

The victory for Head Coach Johnny Hill‘s Chargers gives the 5A State Runner-Ups a jolt of confidence headed into next week’s season opener at Jackson Prep in Flowood. The Local Voice will be there with coverage.
