Who will prevail in Oxford Community Market‘s 1st Annual Celebrity Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest pm August 22 at 5 pm? The fierce Local Politicos will face off against the formidable Oxford Literati to see who can spit the farthest and raise the most money to support Oxford Community Market’s Oh, SNAP! Outreach Program. Judging the event will be Oxford’s favorite townie, Ron Shapiro. OXCM supporters can contribute to their favorite team at the event or online here. Your donation is your vote!
