Mississippi COVID-19 Cases Rise to 94,573 and 2,870 Deaths

Today the Mississippi Department of Health (MSDH) is reporting 552 new cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 24 deaths. Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases since March 11 now stands at 94,573, with 2,870 deaths. 

Currently there are 519 Mississippians hospitalized with confirmed COVID-19 infection. There are currently 147 people hospitalized in intensive care for confirmed COVID-19.

There are now 128 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities (where an outbreak is one or more cases among residents or staff). There are 21 new long-term care cases and 10 new long-term care deaths.
