Mississippi COVID-19 Cases Rise to 90,018 and 2,706 Deaths

Today the Mississippi Department of Health (MSDH) is reporting just 145 new cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and nine deaths. Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases since March 11 now stands at 90,018, with 2,706 deaths. 

Currently there are 513 Mississippians hospitalized with confirmed COVID-19 infection. There are currently 171 people hospitalized in intensive care for confirmed COVID-19.

There are now 136 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities (where an outbreak is one or more cases among residents or staff). There are 41 new cases in long-term care facilities and eight new deaths.
