Mississippi COVID-19 Cases Rise to 61,125 and 1,711 Deaths

Today the Mississippi Department of Health (MSDH) is reporting 572 new cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 8 new deaths. Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases since March 11 now stands at 61,125, with 1,711 deaths. 

There are now 170 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities (where an outbreak is one or more cases among residents or staff).
