Mississippi COVID-19 Cases Rise to 15,752 and 739 Deaths

Today the Mississippi Department of Health (MSDH) is reporting 251 new cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 5 new deaths. Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases since March 11 now stands at 15,752, with 739 deaths.

Currently there are 418 Mississippians hospitalized with confirmed COVID-19 infection.

13 of the new cases reported today were among residents in long-term care facilities, and there are now 136 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities (where an outbreak is one or more cases among residents or staff).
