Mississippi COVID-19 Cases Rise to 153,270 and 3,807 Deaths

Today the Mississippi Department of Health (MSDH) is reporting 1,485 new cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and one deaths. Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases since March 11 now stands at 153,270, with 3,807 deaths. 

Currently there are 1,008 Mississippians hospitalized with confirmed COVID-19 infection. There are currently 238 people hospitalized in intensive care for confirmed COVID-19.

There are 199 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities (where an outbreak is one or more cases among residents or staff). There are 12 new long-term care cases and three new long-term care deaths.
