MiSSiHiPPi Music & Arts Festival: Bud Light Tent pt. 3

The inaugural MissiHippi Music & Arts Festival will take place August 24, 2019 at Foxfire Ranch in Waterford, Miss. The first festival of its kind in North Mississippi, MissiHippi is much more than just a back-to-school bash—it will feature an incredibly diverse lineup of multiple genres, including rock, funk, hip-hop, EDM, indie, and soul.

The Bud Light Tent will have nonstop music starting 1 pm, including Shorty & The Mob at 1 pm, and Hood Baby & The Barnacles at 2:25 pm.

2:45 pm – Hood Baby & The Barnacles (funk) listen here

Four funkateers from Starkville, Mississippi working tirelessly to revive the funk in the hearts, minds, and asses all across the land.

1 pm – Shorty & The Mob listen here

Drawing influences from the great rock n’ roll bands of the past to indie & alternative artists of the present with a rougher & tougher sound, they bring a unique vibe to today’s rock music. They’ve been steadily growing in popularity since they released their first single “Mississippi” and their gritty, high-energy live performances have invoked attitudes reminiscent of early rock n’ roll heavyweights while keeping in touch with popular trends and songs.
