Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department Asking for Public Help in Search for Suspect

The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help. We are searching  for Timothes W. Stanford in the connection of an incident where another person was shot.

The incident happened in the Abbeville and Cr 106 area. The incident occurred late Saturday night early Sunday morning, March 29, 2020.  We are not releasing the name of the victim at this time.

There are charges filed at this time for Timothes Stanford for aggravated assault.  Please be careful we believe Timothes is armed and dangerous. Timothes was last seen in a 1998 Dodge extended cab Dodge pickup maroon in color Tag # LX1 0873.
