Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department Arrest Man for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender

On Monday, November 22, 2021, the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department arrested 47-year-old Jeffery Nelson of Paris, Mississippi. Jeffery was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a convicted felon and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

Mr. Nelson’s bond was set at $7500.00 by Lafayette County Justice Court.
