Lafayette County Crime Stoppers Offering $500 Reward for Information in Cumberland Place Subdivision Auto Burglaries
The Lafayette County Crime Stoppers is offering $500.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction, of the person or persons responsible for committing several auto burglaries in Cumberland Place subdivision.
These crimes occurred in the early morning hours of July 13, 2021 between the hours of midnight and 3am. Any information can be reported to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Dept. at 662-234-6421 or Crime Stoppers at 662-234-8477.
Attached is a photo of the suspect we believe is responsible for these crimes.
Lafayette County Sheriff The Office of Sheriff is a four year term filled through an at-large election process. Duties of the Sheriff involve two primary areas; law enforcement of the county and administrative. The law enforcement duties are to keep the peace in Lafayette County while administrative duties consist primarily of serving as the county jailor. Due to the growth of Lafayette County, the Sheriff Department now employs 26 deputies working four 12 hour shifts.
