Future Uncertain For Oxford’s Favorite Band And The Echo
Winn McElroy, co-founder of synth-pop band And The Echo, announced through his personal Facebook page that he will be stepping away from the group. No comments were offered by McElroy or Morgan Pennington, the other half of And The Echo. No official statement has been released by the band at the time of writing.
Both individually and as And The Echo, McElroy and Pennington have received several Townie Awards in the time they have spent active in the Oxford music scene. If things are over for the local synth-pop duo then they will be sorely missed.
