The Oxford-Lafayette County Economic Development Foundation (EDF) has partnered with Deals Auto Repair to host the 12th Annual EDF Golf Classic fundraiser at The Country Club of Oxford on Friday, October 11.

“The tournament is more than just an afternoon of fun, it will go to benefit the quality of life here in Oxford-Lafayette County. We greatly appreciate Deals Auto Repair and thank Tony Deal for his continued support of our economic development mission,” said Allen Kurr, EDF Vice President and Golf Chairman.

The Golf Classic will kick off with a putting contest from 11 am to noon, followed by 1 pm shotgun start. The four-player scramble will feature a Hole-In-One contest for a chance to win a new car sponsored by Cannon Motors of Mississippi, a longest drive competition, and a closest-to-the-pin contest.  Lunch will be provided to all players and is being sponsored by SMW Manufacturing and Oby’s. The awards reception will be held immediately after tournament completion and is sponsored by Nicholas Air.

Raffle tickets are for sale at $5 each or four for $10 to win an autographed Ole Miss flag by Arnold Palmer or a Pictorial History of The University of Mississippi. Winners of the raffle prizes do not have to be present to win.
