City of Oxford, Mississippi Board of Aldermen Special Meeting Agenda – Tuesday, April 28, 2020

Meeting is at 2:00 pm in the City Hall Courtroom.

Note: The City of Oxford did not announce or provide an agenda to the media until 11:16 am this morning, less than three hours before the meeting. The agenda they have provided is incomplete at this time, because the City has not released the contents of the proposed “Fifth Emergency Declaration”. At this time we do not know what they will be voting on.

Notice that certain commission members will be included in the meeting via teleconference, subject to City of Oxford Code of Ordinances Section 2-82.

  1. Call to order.
  2. Adopt the agenda for the meeting.
  3. Discuss data and consider implementation of Serving Oxford Safely-Phase 1.
  4. Consider a fifth resolution of the Mayor and Board of Alderman of the City of Oxford, declaring additional measures for the control of contagious and infectious diseases and for the protection of public health and welfare and for related purposes.
  5. Consider an executive session.
  6. Adjourn.
